Digitalism is more than an exhibition—it is defining a moment in art history.
By presenting some of the best artists (‘digitalists’) working at the forefront of art and technology today, we are formally recognising Digitalism as a distinct new art movement, sitting alongside
the very best of Modern British and Contemporary traditional art at the British Art Fair.

This exhibition serves as a critical platform to contextualise and codify Digitalism, providing a narrative that traces its development and highlights its cultural significance. Through this exhibition, we aim to cement Digitalism’s place within the broader history of art, ensuring that its contributions are acknowledged and studied for generations to come.

Kezia Barnett, aka KEZIAI, is an interdisciplinary artist who blends 25 years of experience as a director and photographer with the innovative world of AI.

Raised in New Zealand’s coastal village of Devonport, KEZIAI creates with curiosity, imagination, and passion for crafting unique visuals with conceptual narratives. Her surreal and metaphorical work transcends the limitations of living with chronic illness. Combining her silver screen sensibilities with AI,
she creates surreal scenes from bed, her AI-infused artworks do the travelling for her.

Her cinematic creations have screened at BAFTA- qualifying and OSCAR-accredited festivals, earning accolades like Golds at the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, D&AD, The One Show, and AWARD, along with nominations at Cannes Lions. As a commercials director, she travelled the globe, working with brands like HSBC, Mastercard, and Cadbury. Curated by Claire Silver, exhibited with Superchief in Seoul and Miami, and shown at LUME Studios NYC, Craiova Art Museum Romania, Casa Nua Gallery São Paulo,

Cineteca de Nuevo León Mexico, Mecenate Fine Art Gallery Rome, kHaus Basel, Goat Gallery Toronto, Seattle NFT Museum, Times Square, and in the stratosphere.

KEZIAI is featured on daily.xyz, an ecosystem connecting AI artists with collectors, bridging the gap between traditional art and the digital frontier. Since 1997, she has documented her life through a selfportrait series, Daily Photo, capturing her ongoing artistic evolution. A pioneer in blending the old with the new, KEZIAI utilises AI algorithms to generate dystopian future landscapes. Deserted Realities, exhibited at PIVOTAL, translates personal narratives into visuals of isolation, pain, and resilience, mirroring the tumultuous, “on fire” state of our times while dancing through it.

BFA majoring in Intermedia from Elam School of Fine Arts, Auckland University, in the 90s.
